If you will be joining us at an indoor location, we require that you read this page in it’s entirety before attempting to join workouts in our facilities.
Intro Class: Required Before First Class
Fulcrum is different than other bootcamps. We understand that you are ready to workout and use your voucher, however, you MAY NOT participate in a bootcamp class without attending an Intro Class. When brand new people who haven’t experienced our system drop in / show up to a class without completing required orientation/fitness assessment, it’s overwhelming to our instructors who don’t know you and your abilities. It’s a bit like crashing a dinner party without an RSVP. We are committed to providing you with awesome fitness service and we simply can’t do that if we just throw you in head first.
Here’s what you need to do to get started.

- Bring your voucher
- Come a few minutes early to fill out paperwork. You can download the forms you need here and fill them out in advance to save time.
- Attend the Intro Class
In the Intro Class you will learn the basics of Fulcrum, including:
- The Fulcrum warm up (video here)
- How we use the whiteboard
- Class structure and flow
- Basics of the Fulcrum Matrix Programming System.
- Instructor expectations
- Details of our Late cancel/subscription policies
- Sign in basics
- Q+A
Now when you come to your first class, you will be prepared. It’s also an opportunity for us to get to know you the way that simply can’t happen when you jump into a first class without orientation/fitness assessment. If you can’t make one of the scheduled times, email livingsocial@fulcrumfitness.com and we’ll set a special appointment for you.
FAQs
Q: I bought a deal, can I still get the free week? No. It’s not possible to combine the Living Social deal or any other deal with the free week. You can either receive the free week or redeem your deal, but not both. The Living Social membership is a one-time per person trial membership. It does not include the full membership benefits of personal training and member discounts for workshops.
What is your Late Cancel Policy? It’s the main reason that we keep your billing info in our system. The late cancel fee is $10, to help folks stay committed. We’ve rarely ever charged it, so clearly it’s effective. It helps with class planning, and more importantly, keeps the class sizes to 20! Be sure to cancel within 6 hrs, and/or don’t make a habit of canceling late, and you should be fine.
How do I Redeem my Voucher? Just bring it with you to the Intro Class, along with your New Member Packet
I’ve already purchased my coupon, why do you need my credit card information? Our online billing system saves us a lot in administrative work and allows us to give our members better than market rate memberships as a result. If you still want to pay by check, you will be required to pay a small processing fee.
When will my free week, 30 days start, etc. orientation or my first class? The Intro Class is something we offer completely complementary to our new members and prospective members. Your offer will begin following your first class.
